Bunny hopping, or bhop, originated in the mid-1990s with Quake, where players discovered a movement glitch that allowed them to gain speed by combining jumps with strafing and mouse movements. One of the first bhop videos to explain and showcase the technique featured the player Zalon and the voice of Phil, becoming a foundational piece for trickjumping culture.

These tracks were not just background—they became legendary in their own right.
